Application: The challenge with glass atriums is it's exposure to solar radiation which can make it highly uncomforable for its occupants. In order to mitigate this, a study was conducted in collaboration with a glass panel fabricator on the optimal frit design. Using their fabrication design guidelines, a frit algorithm was developed to achieve consistency from glass panel to glass panel in pattern, scale, and spacing.
